Turn off the Temperature alarm?
How can I turn off the temperature alarms? The thermometer in the freezer seems to work to low temperatures, so I can check them to see if they are staying at temperature.

Hi @joseph_5e82e3 ,
At this time, the Temperature Sensor (a.k.a. the Freeze Sensor) is primarily set up for the alarm aspect, and of course it is set up for indoor use only.
So if the temperature passes either of the thresholds, you'll get a verbal notification from the Base Station (three gentle tones, followed by a "Freeze Sensor triggered"). It will not be the full 90dB alarm siren.
If you have Monitoring subscribed, you'll also get a phone call from our professional monitoring operators. But it also won't be treated the same as a burglary or fire emergency; you'll get a call, and if you're not able to answer, the operator will leave a voicemail, and there will be no dispatch. The call sequence ends there.
At this time, there is no way to disable the above alarm sequence. As the Captain says, we currently have a pending request for it.

@joseph_5e82e3 The link below will direct you to a thread on the same subject and provide the information you want. Short answer: different alarm behavior and hit off on the keypad or in the app. Hope this helps.

I bought three thermometers to put in three freezers while I am away for three weeks. I wanted the notification to tell me that the freezer warmed more than a certain threshold, indicating trouble. The thermometers work fine in the freezers, and that would all be fine if I could just tell them to post their readings when I ask without sending any notifications at all.
How can I do that?
Also, I live in a winter climate. If I put one of these thermometers outside... we average below 0 Fahrenheit in January and February. I do not need to be reminded.
Thanks, -Joe

Thanks, Davey D.
If Simplisafe ever wants to come into the Canadian market, it will want to consider a different paradigm. Criminality is a smaller focus and personal environment a larger one.

disabling alerts for temp sensors would be ideal, or at least let the thresholds accept larger ranges. I have a sensor on my back deck so I can monitor outside temperature, but I don't need a phone call at 5am when it is below 0 outside (just happened, wife very annoyed), and I can't set the threshold lower than 1, so I guess I just shouldn't use one for that purpose? also people wanting to use it for warm temp alarms in freezers is a good use case, why not enable your users and drive adoption? as it is I guess I'll just disable these temp sensors altogether, which is a disappointment but it's not worth being woken up for.
