SimplisSafe Warranty Question

Do I get the same warranty if I purchase a SmartLock from Best Buy instead of Simplisafe directly?  I can save almost $12 in shipping.

@ mdolfan short answer is yes.  Truth be told, I have never, ever been even questioned when I bought a device, with SS readily willing to replace a failed sensor. Support has been excellent over the years. Sometimes a bit too long to reach someone, but once you do, they aim to please.

Yep, the warranty applies regardless of where you purchase - including all our retail partners, like Amazon, Costco, and of course BestBuy.

It would be the return policy that's different, and you'll want to check with the retailer for their rules (often, it differs by product category too). If you purchase from SimpliSafe, it's 60 days, no questions asked!

How do I get Simply Safe to replace my failed water sensors.

All they do is send the same auto-reply of help desk shortcuts.

Additionally, the shortcuts don’t provide any assist on how to get warranty replacement.

It appears they don’t support their warranty promise.

Please tell me how to get a replacement water sensor for one that has failed.
