I have 2 sensors that go off and back on. They were put into service about 3 months ago. They replaced an old Simplisafe system that never had this problem. Seems like it happens during wet weather. Would this affect the connection?
@donofhawaii precipitation shouldn't impact a sensor's connectivity with the Base Station.
You mention that this happens with 2 sensors. Typically, when multiple sensors have a "Not Responding" error message, that can indicate an underlying issue with the placement of the Base Station.
In this case, we recommend moving the Base Station to another location. It should be placed in a centrally-located area of your home, and in an open space. The Base Station should not be tucked away in a closet, cabinet, or on a metal shelf, as that can impact its connection with other SimpliSafe devices. It should also be elevated at least 3 feet off the ground, and should be placed on a non-dense surface like glass or wood.

Hi @Cplummer, welcome to the community!
Are you receiving an error that indicates the device on your system? Typically, it should say "Sensor not responding" or "Camera not responding", etc.
If you encounter a sensor that isn't responding, it can generally mean one of two things.
1. The sensor batteries may be low
2. The sensor may be having trouble communicating with the Base Station, usually due to range or wireless interference.
We have an article that dives deeper into troubleshooting sensors not responding here.
