@pknichen for now and the foreseeable future, we only have the existing Outdoor Camera, which has a Spotlight to aid in color night vision. Unfortunately, a full-on floodlight would drain too much power from the battery, so it's out of reach for now for the current camera.

Why not a hard-wired floodlight/camera combination?

Not having a floodlight camera is unacceptable.
All brands have one.
There can't be a bigger deterrent than a bright floodlight upon motion sensing.
Customers had been asking for this one, but can't believe how Simplisafe is not even concerned about addressing this issue, let alone launching a new floodlight.
On the whole, disappointed with Simplisafe for the lack of innovative products, outdated cameras with lags despite a high monitoring fee.
Get your act right.
I spent so much on simplisafe 7 years ago and this is the only reason I'm forced to still stick with it.
Or else, all popular security systems beat SS hands down.
Care for your customers.
Atrocious to not have a floodlight camera in today's world of security systems.
Shame on you.
And do not talk about that spotlight in your exterior cameras, it's ridiculously funny and any cellphone flashlight is brighter than your spotlight.
Take customer complaints seriously.
Get your act fast.
I had been telling my friends and neighbors over the last 7 years to not go with SS.
It's all your fault.
Don't lose business morons.
Keep the customers updated at least.
Launch a good quality floodlight fast.
Or fire your inept product development team.
Floodlight camera is not innovation, it's a basic.
