Yep, the red light just means there was a recent alarm. Once you clear the warning on the Keypad (hit the [!] on the right of the screen), that red light should disappear.
@loricomley If your Base Station's light is still red after an alarm and you've cleared the warning in the Keypad and armed/disarmed your system, I would recommend resetting the Base Station. You can do this by taking the following steps:
Unplug the power cord from the Base Station and use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the screw below the plug
Remove the bottom cover and remove one battery from the Base Station
Wait 30 seconds
Reassemble the Base Station by inserting the battery, cover, and the power cord
@evanpearl Use the link below to read an article from the Help Center. It's pretty good and has a nice search feature. You need to clear the message from your keypad. Post your results here if you get a chance or have more questions.
@justme45 the error message may have already been cleared. But if you're still seeing a constant red light (meaning that there's been a recent alarm), try arming and disarming your system to set a new status.

Hi evanpearl,
Yep, the red light just means there was a recent alarm. Once you clear the warning on the Keypad (hit the [!] on the right of the screen), that red light should disappear.
Arming or disarming should clear it too!
