Camera exposure issue - white image
One of my cameras has developed a fault where the contrast is totally wrong. The image is really bright and it's almost impossible to see anything - it's like it has a white filter over the lens.
Usually when the shutter lifts, the exposure level adjusts to let in less light. Mine doesn't it just stays too bright.
Has anyone seen this?
Camera is outdoors but has case and is sheltered. Plus it's in UK, so it's certainly not overheated ????????

@bnatl1 so sorry to hear about your experience, but thank you for the feedback. I'll forward to our Support team's leadership.
Where are you now on the issue? One possible thing that might help:
Toggling the setting might force the camera to re-adjust to the scene with the correct exposure.

The Tech support person I got today about camera being only white no picture was unhelpful and borderline argumentative. I've been a Simplisafe customer for years and have always gotten excellent service and great helpful people. Wish I had aske her name .. My name is OConnor in Georgia with two current accounts. Hopefully the call was actually recorded and she can be retrained. Issue not resolved.
