Smoke alarm and announcement
I recently upgraded to the Gen III SS system.
Today my unit alarmed and announced smoke in the kitchen.
I don't have a SS smoke detector installed.
Is this possible?

@abcdrobey I admit I laughed when I read your post. Anything is possible, including SS3. Suggest you get on support chat and report to SS officially. They will want to investigate this and get back to you. Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

Hi @abcdrobey,
This is quite interesting! If you don't have a Smoke Detector on your system, the Base Station certainly shouldn't be alerting you to smoke in your home. I've gone ahead and forwarded your case to our engineering team to look into further.
