Address Validation via What3Words
Hi There,
I was recently updating my conatct information and due to where I live there are multiple places with similar addresses and can cause some confusion in finding your customers property. I thought it would be a great idea to integrate What3Words into your address system.
This would allow your team to confirm address location with ease for Deliveries, Security call outs & find new properties that may not be found on current maps & sat nav's.

Hi @andyh ,
Thanks for the suggestion. We do already work with a different third party for address validation - which should work both when you're updating your protected location, and when entering a shipping address for your orders. Of course, it works using addresses registered to the US Postal Service, and the Royal Mail in the UK.
From what I understand, What3Words has a different approach, by dividing the world into 3-meter squares, and applying a combination of 3 words in place of hard-to-remember coordinates. For example, the entrance to SimpliSafe's headquarters is located at ///back.villa.scan.
The tricky part is that while we could theoretically set this up for our agents and customers, we wouldn't be able to translate that info to our shipping partners - let alone the local authorities for dispatch! But it's definitely an interesting idea to bring to our product team!
