two homes, two systems?

@tristansheridan​ hit the three-bar ☰ Menu icon on the top left, then select Set Up A New System. That will start the process.

Can I set up SimpliSafe like my Google home app and two distinct “homes”. Example my home and a vacation home using the same app and same login?

@Garyrxn​ If you have a system in your home and vacation home, you can access both of them in the SimpliSafe mobile and web app using the same login. To add a new system to your account, click the three-bar icon ☰ on the top left corner of the mobile app screen, and then select Install a New System.

is it possible to have a camera at the second home but not monitored? we want it for outside but its a short term rental

@carlsonchris​ The Outdoor Camera does need to communicate to the Base Station to wake up and record, so a separate system would need to be at your second home.

And if you would like that camera to save recordings, the system would need to be subscribed to either our Self Monitoring with Camera Recordings or Fast Protect monitoring plans. If you would just like to view a livestream of that camera be get notified when it detects motion, you do not need to subscribe to a paid plan and can subscribe to our free Basic App Control plan.
