Has anyone succeeded in configuring the Synology NAS software Surveillance Station?
I own a Synology network server which comes with Surveillance Station. This enables you to monitor your own streams and avoid the monthly charge. There is support for hundreds of cameras, but not for Simplisafe, alas. I tried using some generic setup configurations to no avail. Wondering if anyone else has had luck with this?

Simplisafe staff cannot answer this question. I've tried multiple times and they do not understand what a NAS is despite explaining it repeatedly to them.

Apologies for missing this question, but I can answer for you. Our cameras are designed to be part of a closed system, where recordings are saved in our own cloud servers. As such, we do not offer the ability to interface with third party storage solutions, including NAS.
