I have not seen this before but I sure have a strong guess: a speaker that is connected to the SS3 system to relay door chimes on the entry sensors and the doorbell pro. Customers have asked for these two features for years (one customer even used two walkie-talkies) and possibly SS is finally getting to release it. Others, what do you think?

Update: A clue may be in the reported product number, CM015-02DUS. All previous products that started with CM were camera-related, including the latest Smart Alarm camera. An audio enhancer for agents that are interacting with a suspected intruder during an alarm event, especially one that may be off camera? Anyone have other guesses?

One final thought: I thought I would ask Bard, the AI engine over with our frineds at Google. His guesses:

Thanks for the reply! I have questions:

1) How does one join these kinds of tests?  I haven't seen an email about any beta tests from SimpliSafe for almost a year.

2) Is this going to be like the door chime where people can request it for free? Or is this going to be a for sale product? If the latter, any idea a) when it will launch and b) how much it will cost?
