one tone chime

I cannot stop a one tone chime on my base station. It goes about every 60 seconds. I have talked to tech support more than once, chatted numerous times but nothing. I have done all the fixes they have suggested. I have turned off all volume controls. The only way I can stop the chime is to pull the power and remove batteries! Kind of defeats the purpose!  This is very annoying and needs a fix!

@smwids is this from your doorbell? Is the button stuck? Is the chime kit installed to address issues like this? If not with your doorbell, suggest the following: Set base to no lights, no sound. Mine has been configured like that with SS3 since 2017 and SS2 prior to that. In fact, the base is hidden, no voice, no lights.  I have push and SMS alerts on and works perfectly. This should at least stop the chime.

As far as support, not acceptable. I would call back and ask for a tech specialist callback at a prearranged time.

Good luck and post our results here if you get a chance.

Thanks for the reply. It is not the door bell. It's only one chime repeating itself every minute or so. I see no alarms (nor does Tech support). I have set the base to no volume and no lights but it doesn't stop this annoying chime.

@smwids So the base is chiming every minute and the settings for chime and sound are to off? Call support, when the agent answers ask them politely to read the account notes and ask for a supervisor. Once you get the supervisor ask for a tech specialist to call you back today, with the likely outcome of being sent over night a new base.  Good luck on this one.
