As Captain11 mentioned, I would try removing the Entry Sensor from your system. You can do that in the SimpliSafe mobile app by going to My System > Device Settings > select [your Entry Sensor] > scroll to the bottom of the page > X Remove Device. Once removed, you can add it back into your system using the steps in our installation guide.
But if removing/re-adding the sensor does not help, we would want to replace the battery in the sensor with a new CR-2032 Lithium 3V battery next. For more details, check out the Entry Sensor Offline article in our Help Center.
@rrigby Two methods to try: open and close the door, looking for the blue light to flash. If no luck, remove the sensor from the system, then add back in using the phone app or keypad. If you need help, call SS support.
If it happens again, try changing the battery, or moving the base a bit closer.
