@sheilavenable Either the light sensor is faulty, or close to light source causing issue with changing light intensity. Suggest you go into settings and put it on battery saving mode. This will have it light up only if you put your hand near it or press a key. If this does not work, try changing batteries and if that is zip, then call support, tell them the steps you took and ask for a replacement under warranty (if covered).

I simply changed the 4 AA batteries and the problem went away....
