Doorbell Pro - Latest Firmware?

Hello, I just purchased a Doorbell Pro, and have had some fairly significant signal dropping issues, despite following all troubleshooting steps provided by Simplisafe's website.


I was curious what the latest firmware is for the product, to make sure my camera is not outdated, before I proceed with doing a product exchange.  For clarification, my device has the firmware version v2.6.3.176.

Yes, that is the current version. But in terms of troubleshooting, I would suggest starting with the Connection Check tool in the Camera Settings - if you haven't already. There might have been a change in the signal that could point towards a cause for this issue.

The firmware on mine is 2.6.2.171. When I called support they said it was the latest firmware. When confronted with this post they said they were actually the same. I don't buy it. Would really like the truth.

I just connected with our engineers on this. The firmware your Video Doorbell Pro is running—2.6.2.171—is the correct and latest version.

Why can't you post the latest firmware version of doorbell pro on your website. I can see that you have done this for outdoor camera.

@azizhmomin We post firmware updates in the Community when there is a new one incoming so everyone knows what's in store. There has not been a firmware update for the Video Doorbell Pro in a bit, but for any future updates we will post about it here in the Community. 

 

For now, the 2.6.2.171 firmware is the most up-to-date version.
