Disappointed no 3rd party cam or other devices allowed

Is there any plan to open this up to specific camera makers such as Reolink or Tplink if they integrate the necessary security measures?

SimpliSafe offers almost everything I need with the exception of more advanced cameras.

@danmssnr​ unfortunately no. Because we use proprietary technology to keep our cameras locked down and fully secured, we are only able to integrate our own  cameras with our other products and services. It is very unlikely that this will change for the foreseeable future.

I understand your security issues with a 3 rd party. A great feature would be a sensor that has dry contacts so that security lights could be activated when alarm is triggered. The sensor could control a relay to turn on the lights. Imagine a condiminium with 50 attached houses that look exactly the same. At least Simplisafe should eith incorporate a sensor or provide a stobe light that we can attach to the system. It would be a great addon.
