snooze for camera
Is there a way to turn off outdoor camera for more than an hour at a time ? When there is a lot of activity it really runs down the battery. It looks like the maximum time to "sleep" is one hour.

Hi @gary220808,
Unfortunately the Snooze Notifications setting cannot be extended longer than an hour in one go. After the initial hour is up, you will need to pause notifications again until you're ready to receive them.
You can turn off the camera's motion detection in the SimpliSafe mobile app by going to My System > Camera Settings > select [your Outdoor Camera] > toggle Motion Detection off. But if you do that you will need to turn Motion Detection back on once you're ready for the camera to record again.

I have set up my system and been learning it for a week or so. I can successfully create a setup where a door sensor triggers four cameras to record activity in their zone but how do setup so a camera sensor triggers also triggers an event that does the same. I have a camera looking out the front window to the porch, and it did not notice my friendly neighborhood Jehovah witness today, I know because the flyer was stuffed in the crack of the door. And I want the outside camera that watches the driveway to trigger an event that causes all cameras to check in just like the door entry device cause to occur. What am I missing here… I got over $800 here and still missing the primary mark a vehicle entering the property and a person walking up to the front door. The house predates electric door bells.
