Simplisafe has no plans on joining Matter or Homekit

@emily_s​ I just want the ability to arm/disarm in my Apple Home scenes. When I tell Siri "goodnight" I want it to set the alarm along with setting my lights and locking the doors.

I’m ditching SimpliSafe after many years. With smarthomes becoming more normal than niche, the idea of a closed system is simpli out of touch. 

I would really like to see support for Matter. I switched out my SimpliSafe doorbell for a Matter supporting one. I would love to be able to use Apple Key to disarm my system. It is convenience features like this that you are missing. Your lack of support is why I bought a different brand of smart door lock.

I do understand that you are concerned about the security of your ecosystem. But, I also understand that ease of use is important to many of your users. You really need to find a balance.
