Customer Service Interaction Event: World Class
My daughter called that her SS video doorbell went offline after 3 years and there was a loud humming sound from the bell chime unit. I asked her to add me to her account, that I would call support and get back to her.
Got the mail invite, clicked on the link, did the QR code routine and....she system was added to my app and, as I set up my and her system, both were named "Home". Ugh.
Called customer service, and the agent, Ruby, based in the Philippines, was nothing short of world class. She put me on a brief hold, her supervisor told her how to make the change after verification, and promptly change my location to "Home plus my initials. I admire and greatly appreciate when someone readily admits they don't know an answer and then takes steps to find out what it is.
SS, well done. Also, to the application staff coders and designers, the app design is phenomenal and is very responsive and works well. I will be onsite at my daughter's Monday for troubleshooting and getting their doorbell camera back online.
