Video recordings preview in Timeline

When viewing the timeline of activity through the mobile app, could it be possible to have a preview/snapshot of the activity already visible instead of having to view it by pressing the drop down arrow?

It would allow users to scroll through easier to view recordings and select the ones appropriately.

This feature has been submitted to our devs, but I have not received an update on if it will be brought into development or not. Once I hear more from them, I'll be sure to post an update in this thread.

Why has this not been implemented yet. It’s not like it’s groundbreaking technology that you guys have to really grind in order to achieve. It’s been done hundreds of times by many competitors. I am getting rid of mine and switching to a ring doorbell for this reason alone.

@alexwdavis5901​ the app does already post a screenshot of an event to the Timeline, but only after the video itself has been uploaded. So not in-the-moment, as this request is asking for. The best way to see what's going on right now would be to livestream.
