Thanks for the feedback. We definitely want to keep improving our system to best serve our customers, especially those with different needs. Would you be willing to ask your mother to tell us a bit more about her experience, and exactly what she had trouble with? For example, was it the buttons, or the screen that was hard to see?
Also, did you mention that you attempted to use the Simplisafe app to disarm, but were not able? There are some types of alarms that can only be canceled when you're on the premises (like Smoke Detector alarms). But if you mean an intruder alarm (Entry, Motion, or Glassbreak alarms), then your system might have been having connectivity issues. We strongly recommend contacting our Support team for troubleshooting.
