External Antenna for Entry Sensors (for Mailbox, safe, refrigerator, etc.)
So, Ring has one and it has an external antenna due to metal mailboxes blocking the signal. (They do not say whether it triggers if a thief were to cut the antenna line or if it just stops talking to the base station due to no signal...) I’d really like SimpliSafe to create something for a mailbox. It would need to be outdoor capable due to outdoor temperature extremes and it would need an external and internal component (maybe just an antenna) and it would trigger if tampered with. Beyond that, I would desire the ability to configure whether this sensor being triggered would create a police dispatch event. I expect there are places where dispatching the police for an unauthorized person opening your mailbox may not be something the city allows. I’d also like SimpliSafe to create red strobe lights that are managed like a siren. I’d like the ability to configure system to tie specific sensors to specific feedback devices (sirens and strobe lights) and actions. So, if someone opens your mailbox to steal mail, a specific siren and specific strobe light (near the mailbox) comes on and police are NOT notified nor do I get a call from SimpliSafe.

Hi @adamz ,
Thanks for submitting your request. Just so you know, here in the Product Requests section, we want to focus on one request per thread - so it's easier to check on the progress of each thing individually. So for this one, we'll focus on just the Entry Sensor antenna piece.
On the Police Dispatch question, it sounds like what you're looking for is the Secret Alerts option. You can set it so that a particular Entry Sensor will send you notifications when it's opened, but cannot trigger the actual alarm. You can learn more about the feature here.
As for the Strobe Light, we do have a request for that here. But so far, the request is built around is functioning essentially the same as the current Wireless Siren - i.e. more of an, all or nothing for each event.
