Lifetime Warranty

When you stop the monitoring they cancel your lifetime warranty. Never mentioned when I purchased the system.  I will purchase a RING alarm system at least they don't lie to you.

@nowak991 sorry to hear that you didn't have the best experience. You are correct. By default, all SimpliSafe hardware is covered under a 1-year Limited Warranty. When you are subscribed to the $27.99 Interactive Monitoring Plan, one of the benefits of that plan is the unlimited Protection Plan that covers all your components for as long as your are subscribed. You can read more about it here.

When we originally purchased our system in 2021, we bought 4 outdoor cameras. Of the 4, only 1 continues to operate correctly. Of the other 3, 1 is completely inoperative despite several attempts to reprogram. No sound , no lights. #2 gives sound but not lights when attempting to reset and reprogram. #3 operates normally and can be programmed but will not accept a charge from solar panels. I've tried two different ones in different locations. I recently purchased 2 new cameras as we plan to be out of town for the month of October and needed the extra outdoor camera protection. Are these cameras now out of warranty? Do I have any recourse other than just buying new? Thanks for your help!

@willserve If you subscribed to our Pro, Pro Plus, or Core (formerly known as Fast Protect™) monitoring plan, you will have a limited lifetime warranty on your devices for the duration of your subscription. So these cameras should still be under warranty.

I see that you recently got in touch with our Support team regarding these cameras. Were they able to help you get these cameras back online? If not, please let me know and I can help get you in touch with our devs for further assistance.
