Can't end a service before the free trial?
I have my free Fast protection until Feb'24. Now I am returning my device and wanted to end my service and make sure they don't charge me as I'm no more their customer nor using their service. For that an agent says I have to keep a reminder on my phone and call them by end of Feb'24 to cancel this service.
Can't you allow a customer to close their account as soon as they don't wish to use your service?

@tganesh07 You are dealing with a front line agent that leans on a knowledge base to read replies back to you that fits the closest ot the issue you have. Simplisafe has no contracts. When faced with these situations, I first call like you did, and when getting a nonsensical reply I politely ask for a supervisor to call back, but then document my request in writing via email (or in the cases of ADT, a certified, return receipt letter but that is another story).
You've posted your issue here in the forum during the week so I am confident you will get a reply tomorrow from one of the community moderators, or their representative.

I'm afraid you were given incorrect information at first, you can cancel your monitoring plan before the trial ends. I see that you got back in touch with our Support team and they successfully cancelled your plan. If you have any additional questions, please let me know!
