Business location does not have wifi yet (will not for a few weeks)

Will this system still work / alert local police in event of a break in? (I have the $.99/day monitoring subscription)

@MainStageProductions As Dlpsr said, Wi-Fi is required for our cameras to function and for the Base Station to download its firmware updates. If you are not subscribed to either our Standard Monitoring or Fast Protect™ monitoring plans, Wi-Fi is also required for the Base Station to connect to our monitoring center.

The Base Station and sensors communicate through their own radio frequency signal, so Wi-Fi is not required to have them function and protect your home. And since you're subscribed to our Fast Protect™ monitoring plan, the Base Station's cellular backup will take over to communicate to our monitoring center in the event of an alarm.

And as Dlpsr said, you can also put your system into Test Mode to test its connection to our monitoring center by following the steps in this Help Center article.

Hey Emily,

I called tech support last week and was told the base station communicates with the sensors via wifi. You state that its via rf. Which is it? I purchased a system on Friday and had to immediately cancel it because I didn't have wifi at my shop and didn't want to have monitoring. No cameras, i just want to alarm 3 doors and have one motion sensor. No monitoring, no remote management or notifications.
