June National Safety Month: Summer Sweepstakes

I'm Sergio Vergara. My relationship with SimpliSafe started back in 2019, when my wife and I were setting up our new home in an unfamiliar town. Our schedules differed greatly, and there were times she was alone at home. We felt it was important to add an extra layer of safety for our peace of mind.

Thankfully, we've not had any serious threats. There was this one time, though, our maintenance guy set off the alarm accidentally. At that time, I was unreachable due to lack of cell service. Yet, SimpliSafe's professional monitoring center handled the situation perfectly. They reached out to my wife, verified the situation, and canceled the alarm swiftly. This incident really proved to us the efficiency of our security system.

In my profession as a Fire and Life Safety Educator, I place great importance on the presence of interconnected smoke alarms. SimpliSafe's system provides just that, and the added benefit of their monitoring service is a real game changer. In case of a fire, time is of essence. The ability to detect danger early and get professional help fast can make a world of difference.

SimpliSafe's reliability never ceases to impress. Even during power outages, the system keeps monitoring thanks to its battery back-up and cellular system. Also, the Base Station is a real handy tool, keeping us informed about things like low batteries and even pushing such notifications to our smartphones.

The way I see it, safety is like an onion - it's all about layers. While a robust door and strong lock make the first line, SimpliSafe offers additional defenses. It deters potential intruders, triggers a loud alarm if there's a break-in attempt, and if all else fails, it ensures quick dispatch of professional help.

In short, I'm a strong advocate of SimpliSafe. Its current features have served us well, and I look forward to the exciting expansions the company has in store. With SimpliSafe, it's not just about feeling safe, it's about knowing we are safe.

Jist getting started with SimpliSafe, already can trll my husband is easier in his mind about going on trips. We accidentally set off alarm and it was responded to promptly, thank goodness the system was still in test mode.

We have had simplisafe since we purchased our home in 2020. It was easy to setup, and now I can wat ch my dog on the camera. I feel secure and protected when I'm home alone or my husband is out of town. We had the smoke detector go off and simplisafe responded promptly, sending the fire department to make sure we were safe.

have had SimpliSafe since 2018, highly recommended , they were also so helpful when we moved!

When we moved to a new city, our new neighborhood is amazing, but there are issues with porch pirates sometimes and my wife and/or kids are sometimes home alone. We installed SimpliSafe because it is not affiliated with either "SouthAmericanRiver".com or "VeryHighNumber".com. The price is great and the ease of install was amazing. My wife feels safe with the camera coverage and we can let people in when we are away with the door lock.

SimpliSafe Is that peace of mind you get when you leave the house and when you’re sleeping! I love being able to check on the house with the indoor camera. Every one needs it!

SimpliSafe is just that SAFE, I feel better when we leave our home knowing that it is being watched and sleep better at night. I also love that I know when a package is delivered. Makes our children happy that Mom and Dad have it too, funny how we worried about them and now the tables have turned. Now they need to remember to disarm it when they come in.

After a neighbor had an intruder, the police said we should have an alarm and cameras. Saw SimpliSafe on Zach Johnson’s “Millennial Farmer” YouTube channel. Love the wireless cameras! The definition is so much better than a neighbor’s R*ng. We have had a couple of water alarms. Once the dishwasher backed up, and once the washer door seal leaked. Enrolled in the monitoring. 👍

We haven’t had any issues with our system. 
I got a SimpliSafe for a girlfriend who lives alone to give her some peace of mind and she really likes it. 

I think having the SimpliSafe system has helped deter break-ins and theft at my home. I think people see the outdoor camera and decide to commit a crime somewhere else where they are not on camera. The system has been great for checking in on my loved ones while I am at work. I have a special needs person at my home and having the cameras with the microphone helps a great deal. The one improvement I would like to see made is a better speaker on the cameras. It is difficult to hear what one is saying through the camera. I think the delay time for hearing and responding through the camera also needs improvement.  Other than these improvements I would like see made I have been very pleased with this system over the years.

After finishing our military service we moved back to America after 15 years of living in Europe. We were overwhelmed with choices but it was easy to choose simplisafe with the products they offered and easy system set up. We feel safe and secure with lur cameras, fire/CO2 monitoring and temperature gauges . Our system helps keep our family safe to include our dogs. I'm so happy with our choice two years later. Simplisafe has brought us peace of mind!
