Outdoor wireless camera motion detection
My wireless outdoor camera keeps detecting motion and recording videos when there’s nothing in view. It keeps giving us notifications every 1-3 minutes and records several minutes of nothing. How do I fix this issue?

@jamesdevera95 As Captain11 mentioned, this is an issue that our engineering team is actively looking into. Slightly adjusting the angle of the camera has helped some users experiencing this, but once a solution is ready to roll out an update will be provided in this thread.

@jamesdevera95 There are several other threads on this topic, thee is a link to one of them below. Adjusting the camera angle fixed the issue for this one customer. I have two outdoor cameras and both work fine, one due east and one due west. The one facing the west was an issue when I first put it in but a slightly different view helped. Note that when it sleets or snows heavily depending on the tree limb conditions, it will go off more than usual in the front of my house (facing west).
Hope this helps. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

It appears the software geniuses have now managed to reintroduced this old bug.
I’ve had to disable my Outdoor Cam running v1.43 due to evening event recordings every minute, after a valid detection.
I also have to find old threads like this to post issues, since it’s otherwise still impossible to create a new one on a mobile device (IOS).
