Outdoor cameras slow to process video
Both of my outdoor cameras take at least a minute, if not longer, to process a video when I get notification of motion detected. What happens if someone is breaking in? Do I have to wait until they’re on my property before I’m notified? Very disappointed with this setup.

@randallmmiller There are multiple factors that can effect this process. If your outdoor cameras are on AC or solar panel, "performance mode" should kick in and take only 2-3 seconds for you to get to live view. Connection Check tool can aslo provide assistance but recommend you call support to troubleshoot.

To conserve battery life, the Outdoor Camera enters a deep sleep when it is not actively recording or live streaming. In order to "wake up", the camera relies on its connection to the Base Station, so moving the Base Station a little closer to the camera can help strengthen their connection and improve the time to live stream.
A weaker Wi-Fi connection can also lead to a slower live stream. If you use our in-app Connection Check tool, it will run a scan on the Outdoor Camera's connection to your network and provide troubleshooting tips on strengthening it.
And as Captain11 mentioned, if the Outdoor Camera is connected to a continuous power source, it will enter Performance Mode and stay awake, which leads to a quicker live stream. For more information on Performance Mode, check out this article in our Help Center!

I tested mine today upon reading this. Outdoor and doorbell. Unscientific of course.
Outdoor time to video received, about 14 seconds+-.
Doorbell, about 20 seconds+-.
