Sensor Not Responding For Multiple Sensors
Updated
A “Sensor Not Responding” error can generally indicate an issue with an individual sensor, such as wireless interference, or a low or dying battery.
However, if you encounter this issue across multiple sensors at the same time, it typically indicates an underlying issue with the placement of the Base Station, or wireless interference to the Base Station.
We recommend that you place your Base Station in a centrally-located area within your home or business, and in an open space. The Base Station performs best when it is elevated at least 3 feet off the ground on a non-dense surface (ideally glass or wood).
Additionally, you’ll want to make sure that the Base Station is at least 3-5 feet away from any other devices that output a wireless signal, such as a router, large TV, or larger appliances that are Wi-Fi enabled. These devices can cause interference that disrupt the signal between the Base Station and your Sensors.
