Keypad Freezing

I have had my system for 2+ years now and just had this occur. Came in and upon punching in the disarm code, keypad froze and then went black. Of course the alarm went off and I had NO WAY to disarm it as my wife has the only fob. Hard to believe there isn't a way to turn it off u

I know it isn't the "old" system. My app shows the system but says, "Basic App Control". I may try deleting the system and setting it back up.

I do have the app and my system is activated. It is not monitored however. Does it have to be monitored for me to be able to arm/disarm via the app? Thanks

Keypad is dead - new batteries did not help

I woke this morning to find my Keypad dead. I thought that it would be a simple matter of replacing the batteries but new batteries did not help. There is no response when I press any of the buttons. Fortunately I was able to disarm the system with my iPhone app. And using the app, I checked the
