Faulty panic button

My panic button stopped responding. I attempted to remove it and re-add it but ended up having to call support. Finally figured out that I had to squeeze the battery down to make it work. The gentleman at support seemed to think this was an acceptable solution, however, after hanging up with him the panic button proceeded to randomly set the alarm off twice within minutes. It was literally sitting on a counter with no one in the room and went off. Clearly the product is faulty but I received no offer to replace it. Very disappointed in simpli safe customer service. They don’t stand behind their products. I’ll be shopping around.

Hi @brettgolsan,

I'm sorry to hear about this experience. It certainly sounds like something is going on with your Panic Button, and that we should replace it. I've requested a callback from our escalated Support team on your behalf. A senior agent will reach out to you soon, so please keep an ear out for their call.

Thank you, but I’ve spoken with Michelle at customer service and she was very helpful. She is sending a replacement button as my system is still under warranty. This should have been handled properly by Support to begin with, but that’s what happens when you outsource. Michelle provided the service I expected.

Yea I was going to say they will definitely replace it but sounded like you finally got the right person on the phone. Glad it worked out for you
