water valve

Not a good answer. You have a great water sensing product but without a means to shut it off it’s semi useless. Adding an auto shutoff will not compromise security.

@shammack33 I will be the first one to admit I am nowhere near a security expert, but seeing Ring and ADT get hacked, I think Emily's response has some merit, but to a point. One way flag sent out of the SS ecosystem seems pretty simple enough and very secure to me. So....water sensor goes off, SS sends a one digit flag to Moen shut off unit signifying "hey, water sensor alarmed, shut off the valve."  Same scenario to turn on my IoT indoor and out door lights for an alarm event to light the house up like a Christmas tree!
