smart lock integration

Just bought a smart lock series 2.  I was surpresd to find out the keypad does not turn off alarm. Thus , you have to enter your pin twice; once on the lock, then on the pin pad.  I bought this lock instead of others with web apps for more integration.  SS should make this an option on the device set up.  Also I was surprised to find out that only 4 extra pins are provided.  Every other smart lock has at least 10. I have three kids, and my wife and I who use the system.  I need more pins for contractors... I may return the lock and get another brand that does not integrate

@seulrich Entering your PIN on the Smart Lock's PIN Pad should both unlock your door and disarm your system. You should not have to enter your PIN on the Keypad again to disarm the system.

We have gone and forwarded your case details to our devs to look into what is causing this behavior. A member of the team will contact you soon to help.

@simplisafe_admin I don't believe they're talking about unlocking and disarming the system as you mentioned above.  I believe they're referring to turning off an active alarm as they said "keypad does not turn off alarm.

I also have experienced this where I've come home, and opened the door on my detached garage, and did not make it in time to disarm the system at the main door of my house.  The alarm starts to sound, and it won't shut-off with the Smart Lock's PIN pad.  I have to input my code on the Smart Lock key pad (which unlocks the door), but then I have to re-enter my PIN on the main keypad to turn off the alarm.

I should only have to input my code once on the Smartlock keypad, where it unlocks the door AND turns off the alarm if it is sounding.
