Option to Trigger Siren, but Delay Alarm
My previous alarm system did this and it was a good feature. Consider the following scenario: A member of a SimpliSafe protected home turns the alarm ON when they leave the house. Sometime later, another member of the household enters the home but is unaware that the alarm was armed and so triggers the alarm. Since there is no audible cue to alert this household member that the alarm was triggered, the delay expires and a call is unnecessarily placed to the monitoring center (and yes, the siren finally goes off as well but it's too late). If the siren had sounded immediately, then the household member could have turned the alarm OFF before the monitoring center was called.

Hi @snippy506,
When the SimpliSafe system is armed and a sensor is triggered, the Entry Delay countdown can be heard through the Keypad. The Entry Delay is the amount of time you have to disarm the system before an alarm sounds and our monitoring center is notified.
If the Keypad's countdown is too soft, the Entry Delay can also be heard through the Wireless Siren, alerting another member of the household that the system is armed and about to sound an alarm. We discuss the Entry Delay further in this Help Center article.
