Hi @davidwminor,

This feature request has been submitted to our devs for their consideration, but we do not have an update at this time. Once we hear from them, we'll let everyone in this thread know!

@davey_d HomePod mini is awesome, and I use Siri all the time. It would be amazing to be able to arm and disarm my Simpli safe system with Siri. Thank you, I hope this update is implemented soon.

Have you tried the HomeBridge solution? I have this functionality and it works really well.

I got bored with waiting for SimpliSafe to add the HomeKit integration

Yes, please add this! W/o it, we are considering switching to another security system that is compatible with iOS

Another iOS user here to recommend this feature. Although, I think that adding the capability to Disarm the system would pose some risks. However, the feature to arm and lock the Smart Lock would greatly be appreciated.

Ability to disarm alarm through Apple Watch Siri commands would be incredibly useful

Please expose the alarm in HomeKit. That would be the best solution. I used to have a Shortcut someone wrote, but it doesn't work anymore. To include the alarm in my Sleep HomeKit scene is all I really want.

Yes, please get with the times and add HomeKit capabilities. Hopefully there’s not a hardware limitation.

Nothing yet?

@rsucre SimpliSafe sucks. It wouldn't be a difficult add to allow arm/disarm in Apple Home, but they want to keep you completely in the SimpliSafe ecosystem. I'm looking at Abode.

Would love to see this feature added.

And I think it is very disrespectful from Simplisafe at least not to keep us informed about this request.

@rsucre we just don't have an update for you. Our engineering team is always investigating new ways to improve the system. But as far as this particular request, it is currently not in development.

I know we keep asking, but is there any light at the end of the tunnel on this?  You have Alexa integration already.  How much harder can it be to do the same for Siri?

Hey has anyone switched to another system that works with iOS? Forgetting to set the alarm every night because of doesn’t work with my sleep automation is getting annoying. Don’t seem like SimpliSafe has any interest in allowing this

Same question here!  I'd love to shift to another system that integrates with iOS shortcuts/automation.  It doesn't seem this will ever be a priority for SimpliSafe.

HomeKit seriously sucks. Whoever designed it was a madman.
I use the new automatic feature on SimpliSafe instead. Arms and disarms itself every night and every morning automatically at the preset times.  Never have to worry about forgetting to shut it off or turn it on.

@rcaugh1 I don’t think it’s too much to ask for at least the ability to arm and disarm with Siri.
