cameras (interior and exterior) wont update last image viewed till 12 hrs or later.

interior and exterior cameras wont update last image viewed on camera till 12 hrs or later, when for the past 18 months the images from cameras would update within seconds of looking at them

@avilesjamesa77 Thanks for reporting! What happens if you remove the SimpliSafe mobile app from your device and then redownload it? Do the images update then?

No, I've tried that. It still takes over 12 hrs to update image

My images will not refresh in the app. Furthermore the status reflected at times will say "not connected" even though it IS CONNECTED and VIEWABLE.

this has been happening for 5 months now. I simply do NOT have time to sit with support for hours while they reboot hardware, update software, and tell me to Uninstaller and install the damn app over and over.

FRUSTRATING

There MUST be a better system out there that is reliable.

@JR42 What is your smartphone's operating system (Android or iOS?) If you force close the app on your smartphone and then launch it again, the thumbnails should appear. 

 

Regarding the error message you see in the app, it sounds like you are experiencing this known issue where cameras are reported as offline, despite working as expected. A fix is currently in process.
