Screen on key pad going to white

Key pad buttons and app access still works but with intermittent white screen and sometimes stays that way.  It appears that a reset by removing ONE battery for 60 sec along with a replacement of all 4 fixed the issue.  Note:  After the reset by removing ONE battery for 60 seconds the system then prompted that the keypad batteries were low.  I had received no notification before this so MAYBE when it starts getting low the white screen thing starts happening.  Feel free to add your experiences.
