Delay When Disarming via Keypad

Frequently but not all the time, when disarming my alarm via the keypad, there could be as much as a six second delay for the system to go from AWAY mode to OFF mode. This has been happening for some time now and firmware updates haven't helped. My keypad is located close to the base station. This is very annoying to me. Does anyone have any suggestions?

@raski321 How far away is the Keypad from the Base Station? Are there any thick walls or heavy appliances directly in the path between them? It could be that there is some interference between the Keypad and Base Station which is causing the delay.

We recommend temporarily moving the Keypad a bit closer to the Base Station and see if this behavior continues to happen. If it stops, that could mean that it is an issue with interference, and the Keypad should be permanently moved to a new location. But if the behavior continues, we would want to investigate further.

@simplisafe_admin    Will try... I would say the distance is 15-20 feet apart with a partial wall in the middle. Most of the time, everything works fine but the problem occurs about 25 percent of the time.

Will try. The keypad is only about 15-20 feet from the base with a partial wall in the middle.
