Cannot use motion sensors because of cat
I never set my Simplisafe to "away" mode because my motion sensors get triggered by my housecat, which is a regular sized tabby. I mounted my sensors about 5ft off the ground but they still trigger when my cat walks around. Are they defective?

Hello @jc5830,
For homes that have cats and dogs under 30 pounds, we recommend placing the Motion Sensor 6-10 feet off the ground so they can't get near the sensor and set it off. With your sensor being about 5 feet off the ground, I would recommend moving it a little higher up to prevent your cat from triggering any false alarms.
