Do you hear a three-note chime, similar to the sound when an Entry Sensor is opened? If so, that is the system's Trouble Signal. The Trouble Signal goes off to warn you about a potential system error, like if a device's battery is low or there's a No Link to Dispatcher error.
If you look at your Keypad, there should be a <!> exclamation mark icon that tells you the issue. Once resolved, the Base Station will stop beeping.
