Website Pricing Inconsistencies
Has anyone experienced any issues with making a purchase from the website, in regards to pricing? I was sent a referral link from an existing customer, I clicked through the link and started shopping. I added a package to my cart, and then clicked to 'checkout'. When getting into the checkout, the free items were no longer included, and the price of the package had increased by almost 25%.
I went to the online chat, but they were unable to assist, so I was advised to call the toll free number. I called and spoke to someone, but I was told that the free items were a choice between the 2 items, not that both items are free. I questioned this, because I actually have a screenshot from the SimpliSafe website showing that BOTH items were to be included free, but they too could not help.
I feel a little bit like it was a bait and switch. The pricing was lower and free items were included, until I tried checking out. I dont know if this was deception, or a technical issue. I was anxious to get this system, but feel like I was being taken advantage of.
