ADD "Camera Behavior" option to all cameras

Right now ONLY the Smart Indoor Camera has the option  "Camera Behavior" for alarm state. (Off/Home/Away). I have to constantly turn off "motion" events one of my outdoor cameras when when the alarm is "Off". I have to turn on "motion" at night when the system is in "Home" or "Away".

Please add the "Camera Behavior" option to ALL Cameras (Doorbell, Outdoor) not just the Indoor Camera (software version 1.27.10.82) which has the 24/7 Live Gaurd Protection. 

Tnis would be an awesome addition to control the cameras in each area.

Please have the software team look into adding this functionality.

@emily_s​ A "new" feature on my app reveals all battery operated units have..."camera behavior". It SUCKS! It is NOT logical to go to the cameras, select an outdoor unit, and a description of "Off" is always designated whether my camera is "ON" or "OFF"! What am I missing? What I am gaining is high blood pressure!

How do you turn off camera behavior? One out of the five outdoor cams I have now has this on it now.

@Mustang16​ Accidental Beta Tester?😉 Kidding, I have two of five.

It's in camera settings where motion used to be, but broken out for each arming scenario. Either it's on or off for each, off , home, away. Since we've signed no NDA's we can leak info. Especially since I wasn't asked or told about the update.

Would have been nice if someone told me there were changes to 1.35 firmware. Communication would be helpful up there on their end.

simplisafe doorbell camera doesn't have camera behavior settings off home and away like the outdoor cameras ?
I see in this post that it may be added in the future?

i like that the outdoor camera senses motion when on or away. It would be nice to have my backdoor door bell camera to have the same option-the app does not have this functionality/option for the door bell camera. When will the software add this functionality to the door bell camera?

@lambjohna Correct, the Video Doorbell Pro does not have the Camera Behavior setting like the Smart Alarm Indoor Camera and Outdoor Camera do. We have submitted this request to our devs, though.

 

If/when this feature is released, we'll update everyone in this request thread in the Community.
