Yes, we are retired and home much of the time and working outdoors. Being able to schedule our outdoor cameras to shut the motion detector off while we are at home would be extremely helpful. "Extremely" because our backyard camera is sixteen feet in the air only reachable by extension ladder. Having the motion detector automatically turn off or on at a scheduled time is important to preserve battery life. 

@bbrenden We just recently released a new feature for the Outdoor Camera that allows you to tie its motion sensor to the armed state of your system. 

For example, if you do not want your Outdoor Camera to record when you are home and the system if in Off Mode, you can enable that setting in the SimpliSafe mobile app. You can learn more about this feature and how to enable it in the Camera Motion Detection by System Arming State article in the Help Center.
