Add to previous post about unexpected arming

The system was set to Home at 8:32. At 9:49 the app set it to Away.  The phone was off.  At 9:49 it canceled itself. At 9:50 it set itself to Home.  Kind of disturbing that the system can arm itself.

@cornholio Thank you for bringing this to our attention - the system certainly should not be able to arm itself (unless an Arming Schedule is set up).

We may need to forward your case details to our tech team for further investigation; but before we do that, is there someone else who has access to your system (like a family member) that may have been able to arm it?

No, wife was asleep and my phone was off.   Another strange thing happened to my son around 9pm central time.  He was leaving for work and couldn’t arm the system in Away mode using the iOS app.   He was able arm it using the app around an hour later.   Take a look at the system logs for both as they are under one account.

Has anything like this happened to anyone?

@cornholio Yes, last night, however, rather than them blaming us or someone who has access but was asleep. I blame them.

In addition to weird arming or late notifications, there had just been a new app update that was flaking out and would lock up saying app has no access presumably to the system or their servers & API.

So, uninstalled app, reinstalled app, still a messed up app, rebooted phone, etc., but it cleared up on its on within the hour.

It was late and I have a backup security system & sensors, so other than bothered at SS, I really didn't give a rip.

My guess, someone fiddling around with the server. But, we'll never know will we?
