Mounting Entry Sensors on a door?
Hi:
When using the screws to mount the entry sensor to a door, do folks recommend that one drill a pilot hole? If so, what diameter drill bit should I use?
(Normal wood door, using the supplied SimpliSafe screws.)
Also, does it matter if one mounts the sensor to the moving door and the magnet to the fixed door jamb, or vice versa?
Thank you!!!

@charpatton Drilling a pilot hole is not necessary when using screws to mount the Entry Sensor to a door. You should be able to use a Phillips head screwdriver to put in the screws; but if you would like to drill a pilot hole first, you should use a 3/64" drill bit.
It also doesn't matter which part of the door you install the sensor and magnet to, just as long as both pieces of the sensor are less than 1.5 inches apart when the door is closed.
