Yes, Practice Mode and Test Mode are different!

Practice Mode

Practice Mode begins as soon as monitoring activation is complete and ends automatically after 72 hours. During this time, the Monitoring Centre will receive signals from your system but will not request assistance from emergency services. While you are in Practice Mode, you will not receive a call from the Monitoring Centre. This is so you can get to know your system in Practice Mode by practicing arming and disarming it, as well as triggering an alarm without having to worry about emergency services being requested to your home or business.

Test Mode

Test Mode is a system state you can manually enter through the Menu on your Keypad. It allows you to check the connection between the Base Station and our monitoring centre, as well as the Base Station and its sensors.
