How to add a siren to the OLD system?

I can find installation instructions for what I guess is a siren for the NEW systems - but I can not find installation instructions for the "old" system. 

No directions were included inside the package - and internet searches as well as searching the Simplisafe website have been unsuccessful.  Simplisafe doesn't think anyone still has the "old" system?

Hi @gadomes, 

To add the Siren to your Original SimpliSafe system, please take the following steps:

  1. Remove the battery tab from the device
  2. Slide the bracket down and off the Siren to reveal the programming button on the back of the device
  3. Hold down the programming button on the Siren while also entering your PIN 3 times in a row on your Keypad
  4. You'll know that the Siren has been added to your system once you head it beep

P.S.  There is no serial number - I've looked all over the device - inside/outside - removed covers, etc.  All there is is a "programming" button, and the model number, WS1000, and a small circle with the number "2" in it.
