Can I have multiple sirens?

Looking to add 2 sirens, will the system support this? Also is there a way to create custom names for sensors instead of using the available choices in the keypad software?

Thanks, Brian

@bwinkle4 yes to the additional sires. Want 10? Knock yourself out. And, of course, name them whatever you want. Have a great week.

Hi bwinkle4,

Yepyep, as Captain11 says. You can have any combination of any components, up to 100 total. So if you wanted to fill up those slots with 99 sirens, you could!

The easiest way to change sensor names would be through the SimpliSafe app. In the Devices section, you can just type in the name.
Though you could also do it through the Devices section of the Keypad Menu!

Thanks for the help. I named some devices through the keypad , will try the app next time. I put sensors on the security doors as well as the entry doors on my shop thinking if someone tries to break in the alarm will go off before they can get the entry door open. I wish there was a way to put all the sensors on "Instant Trigger" with one motion instead of switching each one separately, I like to have the alarms instant when travelling but not when home.

bwinkle4,

That's a great suggestion. I'll be sending that over to our engineers!

Actually I think I found a workaround for setting all sensors to "Instant Trigger" with one action. Since this is my shop and I only use "OFF" and "AWAY" and never "HOME" I could set the delay on "HOME" to zero and enable the motion sensors, then when I want the whole system to be under "Instant Trigger" I could just use the "HOME" button instead of "AWAY" when I leave, I can disarm with my remote or my phone to prevent false alarms when I return.  What do you think?

Hi guys I have a question about the remote siren: if I install one on my system does the remote siren mimic the chimes that the keypad emits when a door sensor opens or closes? I want to be able to audibly monitor door sensors remote from my base station. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!
