why would you trust this company?
I have tried to return cameras because they don't meet my needs. Horrible experience. 9 calls and countless chats. Complete run around from them. "Our system is down", "a supervisor will call you", "weve sent a retunr label" on and on. After 6 weeks I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and a dispute with my credit card. I will be looking for a new system. Can't trust them to do process return why would I trust them to protect my home? I beleive the scam is that they are just running me around hoping I forget.

@s_aguas with over 4 million customers (one of them me since 2012) your post is not describing the company I know. Yes, they do make mistakes but will almost anything to address it and make the customer whole, and in many instances, even more. From your post it appears the issue a camera you don't want and SimpliSafe's refusal, or possibly, unable to get a return done.
Can you provide a few more details ie date of purchase, initial date SS told you they would issue a RMA and a return label etc. Thanks

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you, I saw it was already in the hands of our Office of The CEO and when they step in (usually when a BBB post is made) I take a step back. They called and left a voicemail on the 02/02/2026.
To help expedite things I've processed the refund. It can take 3-5 business days to process and show in your account depending on your bank.
