SMS doesn't indicate Alarm

I marked my system away, went out, pulled my car out of garage, and went out after checking message that System is set to Away mode.  When I came back I realized the garage door is not locked which has a Smart Lock and an Entry Sensor.  When I put the system in Away mode, it should fail to set if it detects any smart lock or entry sensor open.  Or the least, it shall include a warning in the message itself instead of simply saying system is set to Away mode.

Hi @sarathtata, 

The Base Station does give a verbal warning if you arm your system and an Entry Sensor is open, but it will still allow the system to arm regardless. This is an intentional feature in case someone wanted to arm their system with a window or door open.

However, if you have the Smart Lock set to lock when the system is armed in Away Mode, you will get a notification if it didn't lock.

@emily_s​ I think most of the features you are dictating how to secure our homes.  Please allow us full control how we want to secure our homes.  I didn't get any notification when the Smart Lock is not locked while arming to Away mode.

@sarathtata​ Is your Smart Lock set to lock when your system is armed in Away Mode? If not, you can enable this setting in the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating to My System > Device Settings > select [your Smart Lock] > Away Mode > set to Lock.
